11 . Wonderful book!

12 . Page-turner
Posted January 16, 2012 by Leanne , Brantford, ONI installed this trilogy on my e-reader and couldn't stop reading until it was finished! I know that the series is meant for young adults, but it was entertaining for me as an adult too. Aside from a few predictable points in the storyline and some detailed gore, I definitely recommend that people read this series. I usually like historical fiction, but science fiction isn't so bad either in these books.
13 . For Teens
Posted January 04, 2012 by Scott , TexasShort and sweet of it... this is a book for teens , don't recommend it for serious readers or adults. The trilogy centers around three characters and unrequited love. It's a very linear read. No type of thought or imagination needed to read this trilogy.
14 . Need to read this!
Posted January 02, 2012 by Tricia , HudsonI can't count the times I passed these books by... Someone gave me Hunger Games. It sat on my shelf until I read evereything - I picked the book up with out any high expectations. I prefer horror & paranormal...but not a fan of thrillers... So with that in mind; I read...
All I can say is: WHY DIDN'T I READ THIS SOONER?!?
Really a *great* read. I was quickly drawn into it and greedily I read it up-all the while I was looking forward to the next book- and then the next.
I am really glad I read this and will probbly go back and re-read it.
The movie will be released soon. I am looking forward to seeing it- the cast looks pretty solid. I hope they did the book justice (: But the book is always better ;)
15 . Interesting read
Posted January 01, 2012 by Anna , TorontoI thoroughly enjoyed this book. I like when you can finish a book and think about it. The ending is pretty interested. It's not a happy ending it is a little more on the sad side but it was what needed to happen. I found it was easy to get wrapped up in this trilogy and read the three of them in a row quite quickly. This is definitely a book about survival in beyond difficult/life threatening times. I like that it was different than the usual book I would read. I wasn't sure about the premise of the Hunger Games at first but now I am a fan. Great job.
16 . Captivating!
Posted September 12, 2011 by Seafly , Goula TownThis series had it all! The part I loved the most is that the main character was a strong-willed girl who was determined to protect her family at all cost. The writer pulled you into the story emotionally and you could almost see it visually in your mind. It is not often when I can read a book and not get frustrated with the writer at some point for overlooking something important or contradictory. Not this one. Suzanne did a fine job. BRAVO!
