1 . I liked it.

The story starts out a little slow, but once you get strated, it gets loads better.Great plot, great characters, etc etc
I guess I'm the bad one, because... I like Ridley. Out of the characters she defeats our main character (Ethan) and our Caster (Lena) for my favorite most of the time. Something about her has this sad quality which intrigues me.
Okay, now, here's the bad bits. The stuff with Larkin bugged me. Some may disagree, but it was painstakingly obvious he was evil, and he didn't add much to the story. Neither did the aunts. I mean, WTF with the whole squirrel thing...
All in all, A good read. I'd suggest it to friends and family who want a good story, and I'll continue with the series, to finish it, but I 'll always think there's something missing.
And I'll always look deeper inside of Ridley.
2 . Amazing

3 . It grew on me
Posted October 25, 2010 by Jessica , NashvilleIt took a while for the story to get interesting ... but when it did it really took off. I was pleased with the way the story ended up. I can only hope that the writers spent so much time developing the scene of Gatlin because they are hoping for several more installments to this story ... otherwise all that work was done for nothing. I can't wait to get lost in the rest of the stories to come.

6 . Poor Characters
Posted April 13, 2010 by Heather , Goula TownThis book is for the outcasts everywhere! NOT......
Though the story had some really interesting parts to it the characters fell very short. Without giving out spoilers I'll do my best here. They were either all good or all bad. There was no depth to any of them. I have to say also that some of the characters that she chose as being on the all good side made me laugh....Come on...Really? What a joke.

8 . Darkly Tantalizing and Romanically dark
Posted March 30, 2010 by Daevionne , San DiegoI absolutely loved this book. I felt like it was glued to my hands it was so great. The southern speaking gives it just a hint of character and the narrator makes you feel like you are there inside the book. This book was amazing. I was so sad it ended that i was going to cry. I definitely loved this book and reccomend it to everyone. Hush Hush is AWESOME
9 . A good read.
Posted March 10, 2010 by julie , TampaA good addition to the "supe" genre of books. I liked how it tied in history as well. Wasn't so thrilled with the ending, but worth the read overall.
10 . Well written and some good parts, but unoriginal
Posted February 06, 2010 by Sarah , Western ColoradoI had really high hopes for this book. It had a strong start and was very, very well written. The characters and the scenery were well-rounded and brought to life. However, I was irritated with the unoriginality in parts and the predictability. I finished the book but didn't feel impressed or longing for more of the story. Overall, not a bad book to read and the talent of the writers is obvious, but the tale is not creative and disappointing.
