When literature student Anastasia Steele is drafted to interview the successful young entrepreneur Christian Grey for her campus magazine, she finds him attractive, enigmatic and intimidating. Convinced their meeting went badly, she tries to put Grey out of her mind - until he happens to turn up at the out-of-town hardware store where she works part-time. Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

Posted August 07, 2012 by pam , Kingston NYI loved all 3 of these books! Fell in love with Christian..How could you not? Doesn't every woman want to be the one who saves the broken hot (Rich) guy? Loved the love story despite the heavy load of sex , not because of it! I found myself rooting for the main characters. actually sad to have the story end .

Posted July 30, 2012 by barb , shubiel couldn't wait to read the other books l love a love story and l liked the fact that l wasn't left hanging the author completed the caractors lives, just wonderfull l will look for other books from this author ,there was lots of publicity to let everyone know it was explicit and if they were sensitive they should not read it.
14 . LOVE THIS SERIES

15 . Just when you thought it's all been done!
Posted July 28, 2012 by carolyn , brandonI thought this wasn't the book for me...sounded sensationalist. Not so. Christian and Ana are the other half of each other - and she saves him...I couldn't put any of these books down. I love that Christian was not just another statistic - and in the sex wasn't just gratuitous, it was his communication method, his healing.... Thank you E.L. James for a sexy, intriguing and heart warming read.
16 . Good read
Posted July 28, 2012 by toinioka , johnson cityRead them all and thought they where good books but at times very repetive. By the time I got to Fifty Shades Freed I was over them. In the future will stick with Kate Douglas and Sylvia Day for my erotica fix.
17 . Great read!!!

18 . I would have love it if.....
Posted July 15, 2012 by rae , rgcI think it would have been a little more interesting if it was Christian's point of view!
19 . Erotica at its Best
Posted July 13, 2012 by Michelle , MemphisThis book was recommended to me by several friends. I tend to read more romance than anything else and when I have ventured into some erotica books I have found them to be more about sex and little about story line. For me if the book has no substance then even the heated sex scences do nothing for me. These series of books have debt in the story and really great erotic play combined! The best reads I have found in a long time!
20 . SURPRISINGLY GOOD
Posted July 12, 2012 by PATRICIA T. , HAMILTON, ONMy partner had read this book about 2 months ago and asked if I would like to read it. I really wasn't interested, however, I saw so many talk shows and personal friends speak about the book, that I picked it up to read. Within 3 days and a couple of nights without much sleep, I finished the book and couldn't wait to read the next one.
So, after downloading and reading the 2nd book in 2 days, I couldn't wait to pick up the 3rd (which is what I am doing right now!).
I have enjoyed the character development immensely and explored how I felt about Grey and Ana's activities and budding changes that take place throughout.
I will say that the author repeats cliches and expressions to the point of boredom at times, which I feel minimizes the power of the story. The sexual descriptions are educational for me but not 'startingly' so.
I recommend this book as it is easy to read; has many twists and turns and is somewhat self redeeming. GO FOR IT!
