Joan Sanderson's life is stuck.
Her older sister, Allie, is starting a family, and her younger sister, Tori, has a budding career. Meanwhile, Joan is stuck at home with Mom and her aging grandmother. Not exactly a recipe for excitement--or romance.
When a hunky young doctor moves in next door, Joan sets out to catch his eye. But it won't be easy. Pretty Tori flirts relentlessly, and Joan is sure that she can't compete. But with a little help from God, Allie, and an enormous mutt with bad manners, Joan begins to find her way out of this rut and into the life she's been hiding from.
Book 1 of the Sister-to-Sister series, Stuck in the Middle combines budding romance, soul searching, and a healthy dose of sibling rivalry that is sure to make you smile.

1 . Very cute.
Posted November 15, 2011 by Cori , Stanwood, WAI enjoyed this short read!
I liked that the book wasn't completely focussed on the romance, and everything in the main characters life wasn't just magically fixed because of her new romantic interest. So much of our culture is focussed on everything being fixed by a man, so this was a very refreshing read!
2 . Absolutely Amazing!
Posted May 25, 2011 by LeBreia , PhiladelphiaThis book was not what I expected (and I mean that in a good way)! Dont let the religious aspcet of it scare you away! This book is free and very good. Only a fool wouldnt nab it! I love Virginia Smith.

Posted January 08, 2011 by Stephanie , Troy, NYI really enjoyed this book from start to finish. Joan is someone alot of people can relate to, I think. I like the sisters relationship and really enjoyed how Joan and Ken developed their relationship. Good read and I look forward to reading the next in the series to continue following Joan and Ken.
