A medieval warrior returns from battle with one thought-to bed his bride. But on the brink of consummation, lightning strikes, imprisoning his lusty spirit in his own sword. Eight centuries later, another lightning bolt releases him into modern-day war vet Collin Morgan. The warrior's hot blood not only cures Collin's war-induced impotence, it drives him to bed his former lover Gwen Gardner when they meet by chance at the medieval castle. Collin broke Gwen's heart years ago and she resists his spirited seductions-at first. But when electrical storms give the ghost command of his body, Collin becomes a tantalizing seducer whose new techniques stir Gwen's desires beyond her control. She surrenders her body and her heart. But the warrior's spirit is not the only one haunting the castle, and when this new danger threatens, whose soul will survive?

Excerpt from Warrior's Release by Tea Trelawny
Embers showered around Collin and a tremor shot up his arm and down through his body. Blackness swept over him but it wasn't the blackness of unconsciousness and the clang of the sword striking the oak floor yanked him back to awareness almost instantly. But his body was paralyzed for the space of several breaths before he was able to move again.
He considered what had happened. Although it had moved quickly, he'd seen the lightning strike the floor lamp that stood near the window. The charge had skipped off it and onto the fireplace poker. Then within a second it had bounced around other high points in the room and finally hit the sword. The jolt to his system had been substantial but didn't seem to have done any damage other than that brief stunning.
Astounding. Lucky. Protected by angels. Something had saved his life.
He shook his head to clear it of the last traces of confusion and then ran his hands over his body to check for damage. His clothes weren't even singed. He looked around the room. The lamp on the table near the door had gone out, leaving only the faint illumination of the battery-powered LED lantern his brother had placed just inside the doorway.
Gwen stood near Collin, both hands covering her head as if to protect herself--probably from the sparks that had flown off the sword. Slowly she lowered her arms and stared at him. As her gaze met his, a surge of lust swirled through him with such intensity that he couldn't stand not touching her. He caught her arm and dragged her against his chest, his body infused with an almost frantic energy.
Now. Need her now.
Lust consumed him, burning throughout his body. His cock throbbed and stretched against the garments encasing his lower body. A moment of wonder struck him but vanished beneath the painful onslaught of his carnal hunger for her. How this had happened--the lightning strike perhaps--didn't matter. The only thing that mattered was--
I must finish that which I survived to do.
That last thought puzzled him only briefly before lust overcame him again and all he could think about was easing the need inside his body. Lifting her off the floor, he brought her even with his height and slammed his mouth against hers. She tasted of honey and sunlight and sex. She whimpered a moment and struggled as if trying to escape. Then, in the instant before his conscience could return and convince him to release her, she opened her mouth for him in her own wanton surrender.
