The shadows recede from a lost temple in a forgotten wilderness. The sun rises on a new calling for a man as loyal as he is mysterious. 1 . An excellent Book 2 of 3
Posted June 30, 2010 by Raclapp from Ohio , Marysville, OH USAMany trilogies have a nasty tendency to flounder in the middle book. This is not one of those. Without putting in spoilers, they pick up in the shadow world from the mess at the end of Book 1. There have been many changes since that point, but not in time (you will understand when you read..) and the book begins the real journey of the hero and his companions. It is a very good read, that is hard to stop. I work during the week at a normal 9-5, and I could not stop until 2am on a work day - it is simply that good. It leaves the plot lines well placed for the third book - but leaves no sensation of being cheated, none. Good character development. If you like the genre, you'll love it. Suitable for Teens on up.
