1 . Good read, but not the best
Posted April 09, 2011 by Jenneil , Sioux FallsI bought this novel because I live in South Dakota where the Black Hills are located. I have not completed reading the book, but I know that I will probably not read it again. I am about 3/4 of the way through the book.
So far, Rapid City and Sioux Falls are mentioned, but not Mt. Rushmore or the Crazy Horse Monument.
That is not particularly important part of the story, but not mentioning them leaves a small gap.
At times, there are sections that are dragged out, and I skim over those. Details of every sexual activity between the characters are a distraction rather than supports the theme and plot.
Read it once, yes, read it again, doubtful.

Posted December 29, 2009 by Libby B , Stafford VirginiaThis was a fast read and full of suspense and romance. Nora Roberts fans will enjoy this.
I'll read it again and enjoy it as much as the first time.
