Sick of hearing about vampires? So is Meena Harper.
But her bosses are making her write about them anyway, even though Meena doesn't believe in them.
Not that Meena isn't familiar with the supernatural. See, Meena Harper knows how you're going to die. (Not that you're going to believe her. No one ever does.)
But not even Meena's precognition can prepare her for what happens when she meets--then makes the mistake of falling in love with--Lucien Antonescu, a modern-day prince with a bit of a dark side. It's a dark side a lot of people, like an ancient society of vampire hunters, would prefer to see him dead for.
The problem is, Lucien's already dead. Maybe that's why he's the first guy Meena's ever met whom she could see herself having a future with. See, while Meena's always been able to see everyone else's future, she's never been able look into her own.
And while Lucien seems like everything Meena has ever dreamed of in a boyfriend, he might turn out to be more like a nightmare.
Now might be a good time for Meena to start learning to predict her own future. . . .
If she even has one.

1 . Must Read!
Posted July 19, 2010 by JC , Abington, MAI loved this book! If you are a fan of Charlaine Harris then you should give this book a try. I've never read a Meg Cabot book so I did not know what to expect.. I was pleasantly surprised. Meena is charming and witty.. the story was predictable (to a point) however it is a fun summer read. I can't wait until the next book in the series is published in 2011.
2 . DISAPPOINTING
Posted July 10, 2010 by A , USI've always been a big fan of Meg Cabot's books from her Princess Diaries series, the 1 800 Where R You series, Queen of Babble serie, Mediator series, All American Girl Seriess, Heather Wells series, that is until this one. It seems that in all her books the heroine of the stories always let people walk all over them and its getting really tiring, cant I get a strong heroine for once? I didnt not like the characters of the story most of them I wanted to slap or tell them to shut up. The story had too much going on from vampires to Saint George to Joan of Arc and dragons. The plot is really predictable and a little bit cheesy and the ending was disappointing I wont be buying the next book from this series. No steamy sex scenes to at least spice it up. You could tell who the bad guys were from the very beginning. The whole I can tell when someone is going to die bit just reminds me of Charlaine Harris books not just the Sookie Stackhouse Series but the Harper Connelly series too. I know psychics and vamps are in right now but if you are going to follow a trend can you at least make it good? So the rating I give this one will be it was Just and OK book nothing special about it
