Hell on earth.
That's what it's like for Luce to be apart from her fallen angel boyfriend, Daniel.
It took them an eternity to find one another, but now he has told her he must go away. Just long enough to hunt down the Outcasts--immortals who want to kill Luce. Daniel hides Luce at Shoreline, a school on the rocky California coast with unusually gifted students: Nephilim, the offspring of fallen angels and humans.
At Shoreline, Luce learns what the Shadows are, and how she can use them as windows to her previous lives. Yet the more Luce learns, the more she suspects that Daniel hasn't told her everything. He's hiding something--something dangerous.
What if Daniel's version of the past isn't actually true? What if Luce is really meant to be with someone else?
The second novel in the addictive FALLEN series . . . where love never dies.

1 . Romance
Posted July 22, 2012 by Jasmine , San AntonioI enjoyed this part of the saga. I love the storyline and the romance. I could not put the book down
2 . Great follow up to Fallen
Posted January 02, 2011 by Misty , MechanicsvilleI loved this. If you're expecting more Luce and Daniel, you'll be disappointed. But we're in a whole new school, meeting new people. It's great. The ending leaves you hanging, so be prepared.
3 . It was good
Posted December 10, 2010 by Emily , NJI loved Fallen but thought Torment was okay. It started out good but i really missed the old characters because the only characters in the beginning of the book were only Luce and the new characters not even Cam or Daniel that much. It started to get better and better as it went on but then i really didn't like the ending. I didn't understand why she would do that and why she would just leave them all. I was looking forward to this book and enjoyed it but then sort of was thrown off by the ending, I'll definitely read the next one to see what happens next but wished the ending of this one was different
4 . i so loved it cant wait till the next one
Posted November 19, 2010 by sophia , NaplesI love this book i cant wait till the next one called Passion! This was a superb book let me just tell you i wish she would get over Miles i mean they had to go through her dying every time and now she likes Miles no way i am with Ariene i like Daniel
5 . Not what I expected
Posted November 08, 2010 by Dolly , HonoluluI really loved the first book...but this one was all over the place. Luce get a grip. I mean I understand that she doesn't remember all the romance that she and Daniel had, but she does still feel a connection. Love without trust is nothing, and she doesn't trust anyone including Daniel -- with all that they have been through! She is so bent of finding out about her past with Daniel that she's not even trying on her future with him. She was acting like a total brat child. Sad. I think I'm done with this series.
6 . Another great hit for the Fallen series
Posted October 08, 2010 by Jessica , NashvilleOnce again, I fell in love with the second story in the Fallen series. I couldn't put the book down. All I can say is that it is definitely unexpected ... I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out.
7 . Unexpected
Posted September 29, 2010 by Sara , MississippiI read Fallen and couldn't wait for the sequel to come out, expecting it to be a continuation of the complicated love story Fallen had concluded with. Through out the book I started to think maybe Luce wasn't meant to be with Daniel.... the story was so well put together. I can't believe I have to wait until Summer next year for Passion!
