There are wolves in Whispering Springs?
On her first evening in town, Hayley Royden comes face-to-face with one--a beautiful black wolf with amazing blue-green eyes. On her second day there, she meets a two-legged wolf, Jace McKenna. Though instantly attracted to him, Jace's teasing nature has Hayley unsure whether she wants to kiss him or kick him. As things heat up between them, Hayley learns one thing for sure--there's more to Jace than meets the eye. This lighthearted bad boy is harboring a secret.
Jace McKenna has found his mate. For this formerly footloose alpha werewolf the thought is a bit disconcerting, but the seductive Hayley is a temptation he can't resist. The path to true love is far from smooth, however, when unexpected trouble rears its head in the form of a scruffy thug with a grudge...and an accident that threatens to tear them apart.
Turns out, there's a price to be paid for tempting a wolf.
Note: To Tempt a Wolf is a sequel to To Trust a Wolf, but may be read as a stand-alone novel.

Pulling into the driveway next to Bryn's house, Hayley saw a truck was already parked there. It bore a logo on the side that advertised McKenna Designs.
"I wonder what Jace is doing here?" Bryn wondered aloud.
"Jace McKenna. He's Logan's best friend."
They exited the car and, when Clare joined them, walked up the porch steps to the front door. Bryn tried the door handle. It wasn't locked and she stepped inside.
"In here," came a slightly muffled reply.
Hayley felt an involuntary shiver slide down her spine. Something about that deep, rich voice struck a chord inside her. The sensation wasn't unpleasant and yet she found it disconcerting to be affected by someone she'd yet to lay eyes on. Her curiosity rose sharply. She and Clare followed Bryn to the kitchen.
Standing in front of the kitchen sink, taking the last spoonful from a container of butter pecan ice cream, was the most gorgeous example of male beauty she'd ever laid eyes on. Lord, is every man in this town a hunk? Looks like I came to the right place, she thought as a ripple of anticipatory tension spread through her.
Jace McKenna stood at ease, leaning against the kitchen sink as he finished his ice cream. Standing six feet, four inches tall, he filled out his jeans and t-shirt in a way that instantly drew a woman's notice. Hard, muscular and tight in all the right places.
His ruggedly handsome face was framed by black hair that was short on the sides and longer at the top--a thick glossy wave that gleamed in the sunlight that flooded in through the kitchen windows. Black brows framed sparkling blue-green eyes that were shaded by a thick fringe of black lashes, while a straight nose pointed the way down to lips that invoked thoughts of hot nights filled with sensual kisses. His warm, olive-toned skin was bronzed by the sun.
Jace swept a casual yet friendly eye over Bryn and Clare before his gaze came to a screeching halt on Hayley. She felt her stomach do a back flip as he caught and held her involuntary and fascinated regard. Scraping the last remnants of ice cream from the container, Jace gave Hayley his undivided attention while he concentrated on licking the spoon. His tongue was doing wonderfully wicked things to that inanimate and unappreciative piece of metal. Things that caused a flash of heat to course through her veins.
A melting sensation started in her belly and flowed down like hot wax. The result was an instant dampening of her panties. While the moisture in her body rushed south, the fire in her veins charged north. Hayley felt the warm wave radiate from her chest, throat and cheeks. Jace gave the spoon one last sensual lick before he smiled. It was a slow, wicked, teasing smile, as if he knew what effect he was having on her and was very, very pleased by it.
Irritated and mortified by how easily Jace got a reaction from her, Hayley instantly took affront. The man was far too sure of himself. Hayley was determined to prove she was no swooning virgin. She straightened her spine, lifted her chin and gave him a glare, uncaring of Bryn and Clare's intrigued looks.
Jace gave her an unrepentant grin and turned his attention back to Bryn.
