New York Times bestselling author Janet Chapman takes you back to the magical town of Spellbound Falls, where Duncan MacKeage is about to uncover great love with hidden dangers...
All Duncan MacKeage wants is to keep his crew building roads and bridges up the mountain to the fancy resort overlooking Spellbound Falls' new inland sea. He doesn't want anything to do with his own family magic or with the beautiful widow, Peg Thompson, and her tribe of little heathens. But when Duncan is tasked with keeping an eye on the widow Thompson, trouble starts.
Because of a family curse, Peg fears that giving in to her desires will mean killing off another lover. But Duncan--the strong, handsome man buying her gravel--is unbelievably tempting and determined to take care of her. Torn between her head and her heart, will Peg find the strength to break free of her black-widow curse? Or will pursuing their attraction put these lovers in harm's way?

1 . Magical
Posted September 17, 2012 by B1ackkat , Kansas City, MOThis book almost had it all!! This author always writes her stories to hold you in it's grasp and this is what "Charmed by His Love" did. I like how she keeps her characters realistic even with the magic. Their aches and pains of the sore bodies to their emotions. She never leaves you sad but with a smile on your face waiting impaitently for the next book in the series. Hurry hurry give it to us!
2 . Love & Laughter
Posted June 03, 2012 by hcabm , Rockland CountyCharmed by His Love was an engaging story. It was filled with warmth, humor and magical elements.
The main characters are Peg, a widow with four children all under the age of nine and Duncan Mackeage a member of the definitely family orientated clan Mackeage, He has come to town to build a road for a new resort that is being built. Neither of these individuals is looking for love but fate has something else in mind.
Okay I have to say that I am a sucker for a well written story that has lovable children, a fiesty, contrary and protective heroine. In addition your hero Duncan has strength , compassion, loves animals, children and on top of all that he knows how to treat a woman.
I could not ask for more than this, but then there is the magic.
