1 . Easy to read; good story
Posted April 07, 2011 by pfalish , clevelandI thought the book was good however it seems to me that the ending is very abrupt. The story builds up and up and then BAM....the bad guy appears and the story is over in just a few chapters. No drama. Not drawn out.
2 . Excellent Read
Posted February 26, 2011 by Sherrie , Lake View TerraceI couldn't put it down, took me two days. I loved it from beginning to suspenseful end. As always with James Patterson's books, it kept me captivated. The suspense, the action, the romance -- definitely would encourage others to read it.
3 . Huge disappointment
Posted February 06, 2011 by MT , PortlandPatterson can still give us a good Alex Cross read, but this NYC detective with all the kids is very very lame...not only did I spend $14.99 for this garbage but had to force myself to read it to justify the expense.
I don't expect everything I read to "rock my world" but this book was to me a "bait and switch" a promise to be fast paced and interesting when in fact in was aching slow and the plot was about as interesting as watching paint dry. Patterson either deliver the goods or get off the rack.
4 . Great read!
