The Bhagavad Gita : A Walkthrough for Westerners
This translation of the epic mystical poem uses everyday prose to walk the reader through difficult concepts. Jack Hawley's Gita is not an abstract classic but a "universal love song" that covers a wide range of topics, from healing inner pain to celebrating life.

This book is the most awesome translation i can imagine. And its written in such a perfect way that once i started reading it, i never felt like taking a break.
The book is written as if Krishna & Arjun are having a conversation and you are listening it. No hickups, no blockages, just the conversation in the "natural" way between Krishna & Arjun.
So, even if each verse is translated with perfection, the writing style such that you would not feel there is a breakpoint between verses. This is what i mean by "natural conversation style" (this is needed, as ultimately it actually was a natural conversation). This is the most fascinating aspect of this translation.
Books by other many authors lack this, they use difficult language, aren't glitch free, each verse is translated "seperately".
Highly recommended for beginners like me..
