Rusty starts out as an ordinary house kitten, but his travels deep into the forest involve him in the epic battles of the cat warrior clans who roam (and rule) the wild. With a new name - Firepaw - and a position as a Thunderclan apprentice, our feline hero faces his destiny, struggles with issues of friendship, honour, courage, and betrayal, and learns what it truly means to be a warrior.

2 . Purrrfect
Posted January 10, 2010 by LG , OhioI love this book. Lots of action to feed me and cliffhangers at the end of almost every chapter. And all of the characters' point of veiw put together a masterpeice. After reading this purrfect feral cat book, cats became one of my favorite animals.
Anyone who loves cats or animals will love this book. I'm pretty sure of it.
3 . Fantastic Feral Fantasies
Posted January 04, 2010 by MoKat , AlbuquerqueThis is a great series. I picked the paper copy of this book up when it was freshly printed, and was hooked. I wanted more. I had to wait, and as with all delicious book series, I try to wait for a few to come out so I can glut myself all at once.
It was worth the wait. Erin Hunter writes gold. These books are aimed at children, though I am an adult, and yet they contain real world events. Death, hunger, having to learn, and other concerns a child may face, all wrapped up in adorable furry bodies.
I would recommend this series for any child, as well as the next one, and the one after that!
