1 . Fast Moving Futuristic Drama
Posted September 26, 2012 by Blondie Wilson , AustinWhat will the future be like once mankind gets off this rock? This short novel could be one possibility. Man's technology may change, but does our basic nature? Probably not. Not our greed, our violence, our dedication, or our love. We will remain who we are despite progress.
Doc Vega leaves us with that impression as we go into a baffling journey across time and space where human conflict, power struggles, and the need to be loved all collide at once. A reclusive young scientist finds that his lonely existence will no longer perpetuate itself as he is forced to take part in a dramatic confrontation with an out of control tyrant who wants to force a peaceful research colony to bend to his will, but that's not all, from the deep reaches of unexplored space comes an unknown phenomenon that defies definition as it approaches the planet as tensions flare. The outcome truly challenges our notions of normality and ends acceptably.
I would compare this story in terms of entertainment value to be as good as any Star Wars or Star Trek adventure only with more originality. I don't want to ruin the plot for you, but you will not be disappointed. I couldn't put it down.
I highly recommend this story and this author who came out of nowhere but found a place in my heart. Enjoy.
