Seven-year-old Francisco finds himself alone and scared as his father in one of his drunken stupor leaves him far from home, to sleep in makeshift box. Sophie, who has taken Esperanza's place in helping young homeless children, takes him to her home to care for him. Francisco learns through Sophie about God and His love for all of us regardless of our differences. Francisco goes through much pain to fix not only his bad leg but the scars that are left from being abandoned by his family. This story is about forgiveness, faith, and our ultimate goal of finding God and how He works miracles in our lives.
