Branstville, Massachusetts ? On the outskirts of a small, quiet town is an old Victorian house. Once occupied by the Morgan?s, a wealthy New England couple who suddenly vanished without a trace, the decaying structure now stands, lost amongst the bramble and weeds waiting for its owners to return. Ninety-eight years later, the townspeople believe that it's haunted. Michael Karp, a handsome and wealthy stockbroker from New York, while searching for investment property, accidentally stumbles upon the abandoned estate. Captivated by its beauty and charm he inquires about opening a bed and breakfast only to find the property is not for sale. Annoyed by the realtor?s story that a curse will befall the community if the house is sold, Michael uses his influence and money to force the town?s hand in cutting a deal. Convinced that his business will thrive, he then leaves his position in New York and moves to Massachusetts. What Michael doesn't realize is that uninvited guests already occupy the rooms. His only hope of ridding the house of them is Aunt Kate, a spirited, sharp-tongued psychic from New Jersey. Together they must travel beyond the grave to uncover the truths surrounding a series of scandals and murders.
