1 . Stunning reality
Posted November 28, 2013 by Bonnie , Moncton NB CanadaI am the sister of a murder victim 16 years ago in 1997. My sister was only 50 years old and she was murdered in her own home.
I will never know why the laws of our countries do not protect our women when they are threatened by these monsters. My sister's killer was on parole after serviing 8 years for assualt.
These men need to know that they will be stopped before they murder our loved ones. I cried when I read this book and yet I could not put it down. I read only true crime and I need to say this is one of the best books that I have read for some time. My heart goes out to this family and all families of these victims.
My sister's daughter passed away last year at the age of 48. She could not recover from her loss. Collateral damage.
Here in my city we have a memorial servive every year on Dec 6 to remember the victims of domestic violence. Everyone wears a purple scarf in remmemberance . Please wear one next Friday. We need to stop the list from getting longer every year.
