Okay, maybe not quite. But no book should contain that word more than once, or maybe twice. It's the kind of word that you just don't want to read more than once or twice in the same book! It's distracting. The author needs to invest in a thesaurus.
However, that being said...there were some really good elements to this story. The premise itself is quite interesting. However, the male character needs some smoothing over...the nasty side of him is too unbelievable to work within the framework of this story.
Still, it was a nice diversion from real life. Worth the time it took to read it.
