Microbiology Demystified

Overview

The high demand for nurses and other medical professionals has resulted in a dramatic enrollment increase in nursing schools and colleges who offer medical training. All these students are required to pass a course in microbiology, which tends to trip up many students. Bio of Tom Betsy

Tom Betsy, D.C., teaches microbiology, anatomy, physiology, and other courses in the nursing and allied health programs at Bergen Community College in northern New Jersey. Dr. Betsy is widely admired by his students for his ability to simplify complex subjects. He lives in Hillsdale, New Jersey.

Bio of James Edward Keogh

Jim Keogh (Ridgefield Park, NJ) is on the faculty of Columbia University and Saint Peter's College in Jersey City, New Jersey. He developed the e-commerce track at Columbia University. Keogh has spent decades developing applications for major Wall Street corporations and is the author of more than 60 books, including J2EE: The Complete Reference, Java Demystified, ASP.NET Demystified, Data Structures Demystified, XML Demystified, and others in the Demystified series.
