I started writing my first book while I was literally in the middle of reading a book put out by one of the most prominent historical romance authors. The book (and author, of course) shall remain nameless, but the plot was the old, boring fortune hunter scheme. I sighed, slipped a piece of paper in the book, sat down at my computer and three hours later had thirty-five pages of my first manuscript done.

After I completed the first book, I wrote two more--one about each of the herione's sisters.

Before writing books, I wrote short articles for newsletters and small papers. But my writing all began in fourth grade when I wrote stories as a way to get out of having to read when I wasn't working on schoolwork.
