Bio of Paula Johanson

Paula Johanson has worked for twenty years as a writer and teacher, and she has written and edited curriculum educational materials for the Alberta Distance Learning Centre in Canada. This is her fourth book for Rosen Publishing. She writes and edits nonfiction books, magazine articles and columns, and book reviews. She has been nominated twice for the national Prix Aurora Award for Canadian Science Fiction. She had a blood transfusion in early 1985, before AIDS/HIV screening, but took an HIV test as soon as it was available. Ms. Johanson lives on an island in British Columbia and a farm in Alberta, Canada.
