Miranda Mayer

I feel at home the most at home in quiet, natural places. I reside in the Oregon cascades and Mount Hood region, the lush forests and roar of the river are my respite and my inspiration. I ride horses, I write (naturally), I dabble in art but I am mostly a homebody. I am married, and live with my dogs, cat and husband in a really small cabin... seriously. Our 'furnace' is a propane stove with fake ceramic logs. I am a proud member of the Small House Society and enjoy our humble life quite a bit. I dream of someday owning and running a riding club again. I help with book reviews for my friend, I providing proofreading and some editing for other writers in the writing group, and I hope someday to get into publishing.
