Editorial Reviews
Following 2006's Mysteria, this collection of steamy and sassy stories returns to supernatural suburbia in entertaining style. In "Disdaining Trouble," Davidson introduces the devilish Desdaine triplets, whose encounter with a wishing well has too many repercussions to quite fit into the short format. Shay, the top-ranking she-demon in the devil's army, strikes up a steamy romance with a demon hunter in Grant's "The Nanny from Hell." Showalter's "A Tawdry Affair" combines revenge and red-hot sex when frustrated love-witch Glory uses a magic pen to write fantasies that come true. In Cast's "It's in His Kiss...," hapless teacher Summer can't seem to control her magic, her classroom or her feelings for a flirtatious fairy and a handsome vampire. Several characters from Mysteria make appearances, but new readers will have no trouble appreciating these charming tales. (Nov.) Copyright 2008 Reed Business Information.

Bio of Susan Grant
Long before Susan wrote her first book in 1997, she adored telling tales. As a child, the only thing she liked more than daydreaming was an audience. At eighteen, she set out to live the stories she'd only imagined, and entered the United States Air Force Academy as a member of the third class in history to include women. There she made the grim discovery that she lacked the gene necessary to comprehend advanced calculus. Nonetheless, she graduated and spent the next seven years flying jets in the Air Force. After two decades of flying, Susan has finally reunited with the right half of her brain--the creative half. Her writing has won many first place awards, and she was a Golden Heart finalist two years in a row. An admitted incurable romantic, Susan draws on her experiences as an Air Force officer and airline pilot to create stories brimming with romance, humor, and page turning adventure. She lives near Sacramento with her family, and loves to hear from readers. You can write her at P.O. Box 841, Rocklin, CA 95677.

Oddly FunnyPosted October 14, 2008 by Jade, Wyoming USA
The book goes back and forth a lot, even in the stories themselves, and I did lose the thread once but I figured it out almost immediately after that. Of course once you realize that each story, while centralizing on one or a few characters, incorporates a whole town; it becomes much easier to follow.
