Author Information

Mary Balogh

Mary Balogh is the New York Times bestselling author of the acclaimed Slightly novels: Slightly Married, Slightly Wicked, Slightly Scandalous, Slightly Tempted, Slightly Sinful, and Slightly Dangerous, as well as the romances No Man's Mistress, More than a Mistress, and One Night for Love. She is also the author of Simply Love, Simply Unforgettable, Simply Magic, and Simply Perfect, her dazzling quartet of novels set at Miss Martin's School for Girls. A former teacher herself, she grew up in Wales and now lives in Canada.

Colleen Gleason

Colleen Gleason lives near Ann Arbor with her husband and children. She has an English degree and an MBA from the University of Michigan. Before writing full-time, she worked in the sales and marketing side of health care and insurance products. She has managed large sales forces, worked in start-up companies, and owned her own business. Colleen loves to hear from her readers, and can be contacted through her website.

Susan Krinard

Susan Krinard never dreamed of becoming a writer. Trained as an artist with a BFA in Illustration from the California College of Arts and Crafts, she first considered the possibility when a friend read a short story she'd written -- "Fan Fiction" based on the television show "Beauty and the Beast" -- and suggested she try writing a romance novel. A longtime reader of science fiction and fantasy, Susan began reading romance -- and realized what she wanted to do was combine the two genres. Prince of Wolves, her first romance novel, was the result. Within a year, Susan had sold the manuscript to Bantam in 1993 as part of a three-book contract, and the novel went on to make several bestseller lists.

Since then, Susan has written thirteen fantasy romance novels and several novellas, including Kinsman in the New York Times Bestseller Out of This World, and has begun a new fantasy series with LUNA Books, which launched with Shield of the Sky in 2004.

Born and raised in California, Susan now makes her home in New Mexico, the "Land of Enchantment," with her husband, Serge, her dogs Brownie, Freya and Nahla, and her cat, Jefferson. In addition to writing, Susan's interests include music -- especially classical, oldies and new age -- old movies, nature, baking and making jewelry for artisan beads.

Janet Mullany

Janet Mullany was raised in England on a diet of Georgette Heyer and Jane Austen, and now lives near Washington, D.C. She's worked as an archaeologist, classical music radio announcer, performing arts publicist, copyeditor, and bookseller. Her first book, Dedication, won the 2006 Golden Leaf for Best Regency, as well as other awards.
