Author Information

Lynn Lafleur

Lynn Lafleur began writing at the age of 12, when she turned in her first "story" as an English assignment. The love of the written word blossomed over time, and she finished her first romance novel at age 21. That novel was a learning experience for her--she learned all the things not to do when writing a book!

Instead of letting rejection letters crush her spirit, she continued to write. She joined Romance Writers of America in 1988 and formed a critique group with five members of her local chapter. She credits any success she's received to that group of ladies.

Lafleur realized her dream in February 2003, when her first erotic romance was accepted for publication by Ellora's Cave. That book has been followed by nine others for Ellora's Cave.

She was approached to write a story for the new Avon Red line in May 2005. After getting over the shock of an editor contacting her (and not the other way around), she happily agreed. Her story, "Victim of Deception," became one of the three stories in the contemporary anthology If This Bed Could Talk.

Now a full-time writer, Lafleur happily spends her days creating characters she hopes her readers will love as much as she does.
