Bio of Lora Leigh
Lora Leigh lives in the rolling hills of Kentucky, often found absorbing the ambiance of this peaceful setting. She dreams in bright, vivid images of the characters intent on taking over her writing life, and fights a constant battle to put them on the hard drive of her computer before they can disappear as fast as they appeared. Lora's family, and her writing life co-exist, if not in harmony, in relative peace with each other. Surrounded by a menagerie of pets, friends, and a teenage son who keeps her quick wit engaged, Lora's life is filled with joys, aided by her fans whose hearts remind her daily why she writes.

A little better than "just okay".........Posted August 07, 2009 by Cooper, Houston Texas
I just could not get into this story. Yes, I read it from beginning to end. I am a HUGH Lora Leigh fan, and will continue to be a fan. I have read the entire breed series and enjoyed them greatly. But, this one had the most annoying main characters. All they did was argue. What happen to Cabal's personality? The female lead was so annoying and argumentative; I just didn't like her at all. If this is the first time you are reading this series, don't get discourage, it truly is a good series, but this one, was neither Ms. Leigh best, nor worst either. I look forward to Jonas' story (fingers crossed).
Good things about this story: The sex scenes
Bad things about this story: The relationship between Cabal and Casa, it lacked chemistry and romance.:(

I love this series. I have to say this one is way down on my list of favorites in the Breed world but If you love the Breed Series you'll want it in your library.

Not as good as I'd hoped...Posted November 19, 2009 by S.Tyler, Austin TX
But not bad.
I think Ms.Leigh has a fascinating milieu in the Breed community of the near future, but in Bengal's Heart (not a great title), she loses sight of the romance angle in her wraparound story. I understand that no good romance is just about the romance, but I feel the romance here was completely eclipsed by the milieu. Don't get me wrong - I am interested in the ongoing story of the Breeds, but I expected something special from this one after Tanner's Scheme, which was excellent. Unfortunately, I didn't particularly empathize with either protagonist, which just made it difficult for me to get into the story. However, I still have hope that Ms.Leigh has many more good Breed books in her, and I await her next effort with some impatience..
