Overview

A stranger rides into Logan's Bluff seeking to keep a promise to a friend, a fellow soldier. At the end of his search, Marquez discovers a sickly woman with old secrets and a treasure. What changes will those secrets make in his life? Does he take the lady's treasure and ride?

Les Williams

Retiring in 2006, after 20 years with the US Government, Les Williams found his passion in writing. He attended a writing class in NC at the John C. Campbell Folk Art School.

Les's first short story, Under Nebraska Skies, won second place in the 2008 Aspiring Authors Writing Contest. His column, A Senior Moment, appears in the local senior paper 55+.

He lives in Lincoln, NE, with his wife, Phyllis Maurer, and one irritable cat.
