Author Information

Laura Resnick

Award-winning author Laura Resnick has sold more than twenty books in several genres. She has also published nearly fifty short stories, as well as dozens of articles and columns.

Resnick's epic fantasy novels include The White Dragon and The Destroyer Goddess, which made the "Year's Best" lists of Publishers Weekly and Voya. Under the pseudonym Laura Leone, she is the author of romance novels such as Fever Dreams, which Romantic Times named as a "Top Pick," and Fallen from Grace, which was a finalist for the Romance Writers of America's prestigious Rita Award.

Resnick is also the author of A Blonde in Africa, a nonfiction book about her eight-month journey across the continent. She is currently finishing an MSJ degree, after which she will go to Israel on a Wilhelm Scholarship as a journalism intern.

An experienced public speaker, Resnick has appeared at the Tennessee Williams Festival in New Orleans, the World Science Fiction Convention, the Utopia conference in France, the Cincinnati Writers Project, Clinton Community College in New York, the Ohio Valley Romance Writers, the Detroit Area Romance Writers, Novelists Inc., the Pikes Peak Writers Group and the Space Coast Writers Guild.
