Overview

MacKayla Lane lies naked on the cold stone floor of a church, at the mercy of the erotic Fae master she once swore to kill. Far from home, unable to control her sexual hungers, MacKayla is now fully under the Lord Master's spell....In New York Times bestselling author Karen Marie Moning's stunning new novel, the walls between human and Fae worlds have come crashing down. And as Mac fights for survival on Dublin's battle-scarred streets, she will embark on the darkest--and most erotically charged--adventure of her life.

He has stolen her past, but MacKayla will never allow her sister's murderer to take her future. Yet even the uniquely gifted sidhe-seer is no match for the Lord Master, who has unleashed an insatiable sexual craving that consumes Mac's every thought--and thrusts her into the seductive realm of two very dangerous men, both of whom she desires but dares not trust.

As the enigmatic Jericho Barrons and the sensual Fae prince V'lane vie for her body and soul, as cryptic entries from her sister's diary mysteriously appear and the power of the Dark Book weaves its annihilating path through the city, Mac's greatest enemy delivers a final challenge....

It's an invitation Mac cannot refuse, one that sends her racing home to Georgia, where an even darker threat awaits. With her parents missing and the lives of her loved ones under siege, Mac is about to come face-to-face with a soul-shattering truth--about herself and her sister, about Jericho Barrons...and about the world she thought she knew.

Dreamfever begins to fill us back up. A rollercoaster ride of emotional reactions and thrilling exploits, Karen Marie Moning's latest Fever book gives us enormous amounts of information about Mac recovering from being Pri-ya, Barrons' emotions and where V'lane was in Faefever. However, it gets us asking many more questions that will have to wait until Shadowfever for answers.
    Absolutely worth reading and re-reading.

Karen did a great job with Dreamfever! The beginning gets your heart racing, the middle keeps it going and the ending is OMG....I didn't see that coming! Excellent. I have and will recommend Dreamfever and the Fever series to family and friends (and those of you reading this :) ).

This was my favorite of the Fever Series. I read the entire book in one day. What an ending! She has me hooked.

  • 5 stars out of 5Fever series continues to heat up

Absolutely loved this book! Picks up directly where Faefever left off with Mac turning Pri-ya and is non-stop from there. Don't want to say too much because there's a lot of information in this book, but we see lots of character growth especially in Mac and some interesting growth in V'lane. Plus we get to know a lot more about Dani, Barrons and Ryodan. Moning manages to answer many questions from the previous books while still leaving plenty of room for an explosive finale.

I read the whole thing in a day, and when I got to the cliffhanger ending I nearly screamed. I know Dreamfever just came out, but I'm already counting the days to next August's (presumable) release of Shadowfever.

  • 5 stars out of 5Finally , questions are answered

Great reading. I found many answers to old mysteries from the other books. Found some new ones that I hope are rounded up in the next installment. The ending was a kick in the stomach.!! I'm not sure it was a final situation or a set up for some new "magic" from Mac in the next "fever". I will definitely recommend this author and series to my friends.

  • 5 stars out of 5What a Cllffhanger!

Read the series in a matter of days and loved them. The entire book was entertaining and fast paced. Barrons character is so mysteriously fascinating and can be my "beast" any day! The ending was jaw dropping and I haven't stopped thinking about all the possibilities for the next installment.

  • 5 stars out of 5Just keeps gettin' better

Karen Marie Moning is such a tease! As she is drawn further into the Human/Fae conflict, Mac finds herself getting by only with a little help from her friends (but still in the predicament of not knowing who is actually trustworthy). As usual, we're left with a heart-pounding cliffhanger. I'd love to write the ending in the next book but have no doubt KMM will wrap it up with a bang in the final installment... if we can survive the loooong wait.

  • 5 stars out of 5want to read the next book... hurry !

In this doom days, Mac is decided to save our world from faes' invasion.
The main character, Mac, is sometimes making choices that looks instantly silly to me, but, depicted in Dublin and bathed in the Celtic mythology, the story is great and I couldn't leave the book until the last page... the hole serie keeps you turning pages until the wee hours of the day.
And the ending makes sure you'll want more!
