Now Ash has granted one favor too many and someone's come to collect, forcing the prince to a place he cannot go without Puck's help--into the heart of the Summer Court. Author Information

Julie Kagawa

Julie Kagawa was born in Sacramento, California. But nothing exciting really happened to her there. So, at the age of nine she and her family moved to Hawaii, which she soon discovered was inhabited by large carnivorous insects, colonies of house geckos and frequent hurricanes. She spent much of her time in the ocean, when she wasn't getting chased out of it by reef sharks, jellyfish and the odd eel.

To pay the rent, Julie worked in different bookstores over the years, but discovered the managers frowned upon her reading the books she was supposed to be shelving. So she turned to her other passion: training animals. She worked as a professional dog trainer for several years, dodging Chihuahua bites and overly enthusiastic Labradors, until her first book sold and she stopped training to write full-time.

Julie now lives in Louisville, Kentucky, where the frequency of shark attacks are at an all-time low. She lives with her husband, two obnoxious cats, one Australian shepherd who is too smart for his own good and the latest addition, a hyperactive papillon.

  • 1.5 stars out of 5iron fey series 2nd novella

Posted June 20, 2011 by nobody important, san diego, ca

if u haven't already read the iron fey series i'm not sure u will understand enough of the back story to enjoy the novella. i reccomend reading them 1st. if u can make it thru the 1st half of the 1st book u will b rewarded by a great story, i promis! the 1st book starts off slow, really slow, and is a bit confusing at first. if u liked twilight u will like the iron fey.

i've been on pins and needles since finishing the 3rd book and this novella took the edge off, i'm still eager as all get out for the release of the 4th book but now at least i'm not so tied up in knots.

it takes place from robin's pov. and u get to see how he is not as selfish or thoughtless as u might think. it will leave u torn between who u'd like to end up with megan (very edward vs jacob)
