America's Greatest Challenge-Succession and Continuity

Overview

Tackling significant issues facing an America-led civilization, it reminds us how each and every generation must ensure the hand-over processes take place or risk the vaunted start of the breakdown. It's about the responsibilities and leadership of each and every American, explaining how and why our decisions can make or break history's most successful experiment in democracy and capitalism.

Author Information

Joseph S. Bayana

Joseph S. Bayana is the founder of the Institute for the Study of Succession and Continuity (ISSC), a privately-funded, not-for-profit think tank that endeavors to do research and disseminate information on the continuous viability of the United States of America, democracy and free-market capitalism (www.greatestchallenge.org).

Referring to himself as a civilizationologist, i.e. one who studies civilizations, he is the pioneering expert in Succession and Continuity Studies.

He is also the major organizer of the 2010 First Biennial National Conference on Succession and Continuity, to be held in the United States; and the 2011 First Biennial Global Conference on Succession and Continuity, to be held in a different host nation outside of the US.

The 2010 First Annual National Continuity Technology Conference, and the 2011 First Annual Global Continuity Technology Conference are also some of his upcoming projects. Both promote and encourage pioneering and innovative continuity technologies, and encourage continuity economics.

Aside from ISSC, he also co-founded the American Minority Choice Awards (AMMCA), given annually in recognition for excellence in pursuit of the limitless economic, business, cultural, social, educational and human potentials of American diversity (www.ammca.com).

Joseph also initiated www.povertyisachoice.org, an outreach program that aims to ―change the way we look at the socio-economic issue of poverty, from the perception of helplessness and destitution to one of choice, learning and achieving goals.‖ This is based on his upcoming book, Poverty is a Choice: How and Why Millions Turn Their Back on the American Dream.

Simple and straight to the point. I loved the way Bayana opened up America's Greatest Challenge to me. Although he seems to rant about the gloriousness of the USA most of the time, he does drive a good point by reminding me of our leadership in the grand scheme of things.

For about $8, it's worth every penny and much, much more.
