  There's more than a hint of wicked in this historical romance, but I wouldn't say that it's very sensual. There are not that many love scenes, but a lot of thinking about sex. It's a totally new premise for a historical, and the heroine's indecisiveness was annoying at times. And it took way too long to finally find out what happened to Garrett. And also very different was that the book starts with all the characters in established relationships, so there's no courtships or chase. It's not a book I'd read again, but it was different and worth reading once.
