Michael Ledwidge is a former New York City telephone man & the author of "The Narrowback", which he wrote while working as a doorman in midtown Manhattan. A graduate of Manhattan College, Ledwidge was born & raised in the Bronx, where he still lives.

• Easy book, slow at first but picks up good for travel

  I enjoyed the book. I travel a great deal, so this was a good book to get me across the Pacific. Not the best, which is why only three stars. But definitely worth it as a travel book.

• This Book is Worth Reading

  This was the first full-length book that I downloaded onto my new Sony Reader. Therefore, I was eager to begin reading. I'd seen this book advertised on TV and wondered if it'd be good. I work in a library and have access to hundreds of books, so I hoped the book would be worth the price I paid. Now that I've finished the story, I can say that it was definitely worth the price and worth the hours of sleep I gave up reading all night, when I should have been sleeping.

  Good read, typical James Patterson. Fast action, good story line. Patterson's format of quick hitting chapters is what keeps me coming back time and time. Hope you enjoy.
