J. R. Ward lives in the South with her incredibly supportive husband and her beloved golden retriever. After graduating from law school, she began working in health care in Boston and spent many years as chief of staff for one of the premier academic medical centers in the nation.

• Ugh,... Not good!

  I really did not like this book.... there is like 5 different stories going on at once here... i know this is a series but pick a main character and get one with it... its almost like this author had A.D.D.... i ended up skipping many parts of this book because it ust got to be too much... i wasn't able to allow myself to fall into the book because everytime i started the character point of view would switch and then i would have to pause my interest... not good...

  This was my first exposure to JR Ward and was totally hooked. I recommend it to all I know. My mother even loved them. You can't help but fall in love with Rage. I loved the witty banter between the different people in the story.

• Black dagger Brotherhood is Amazing

  I loved this book and the whole series. The plot was great and I think the way she mixed other characters in the book gave more meat to the plot and understanding into the bigger world of the Brothers. I found that JR Ward has a wonderful ability to capture your interest and if Rage is not your favourite brother then you are not stuck with 400 pages of just him. Not just an average "love em, leave em and love em again" romance. Best Vampire series so far!
