Overview
Redemption isn't a word Jim Heron knows much about--his specialty is revenge, and to him, sin is all relative. But everything changes when he becomes a fallen angel and is charge with saving the souls of seven people from the seven deadly sins. And failure is not an option. Vin DiPietro long ago sold his soul to his business, and he's good with that-- until fate intervenes in the form of a tough- talking, Harley-riding, self-professed savior. But then he meets a woman who will make him question his destiny, his sanity, and his heart--and he has to work with a fallen angel to win her over and redeem his own soul.

JR Ward has woven a new spellPosted October 23, 2009 by ARS, Houston
If you love the Black Dagger Brotherhood, you will be thrilled to enter JR Ward's new world of good vs. evil. Although the stories intersect with BDB characters, this series stands alone - fresh, exciting, and addictive. The characters are complex, compelling, and heartachingly imperfect. By the end of this bittersweet step beyond our limited view of "reality," you will be gasping for more.

Not the book you're looking for.Posted October 24, 2009 by S.Tyler, Austin, TX
If you're a fan of J.R. Ward's Black Dagger series, you may actually hate this book. It's about as far from the edgy vampire brothers as I imagine she could get. Do I respect her for trying something new? Yes. But this book is boring at best and at it's worst, it's nearly unreadable. I have to admit, I didn't even finish it. The milieu and characterizations are too weak to hold my attention, and the plot devices are laughably bad. I'm sorry, Ms.Ward. This isn't really your fault - after all, someone did publish it. I suggest you go back to doing what you do best, which is the vampire milieu of the Black Dagger Brotherhood.
