Bio of George S. Day
George S. Day holds the Geoffrey T. Boisi Professorship in the Department of Marketing and is Director of the Huntsman Center for Global Competition and Innovation at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Day has written more than 125 articles for leading marketing and management journals and fourteen books including Market Driven Strategy, the companion volume to this book. A consultant to leading corporations worldwide, Day is the recipient of the Charles Coolidge Parlin Award for his leadership in the field of marketing and the Paul D. Converse Award for outstanding contributions to the development of the science of marketing. He lives in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Bio of Paul J. H. Schoemaker
Paul J. H. Schoemaker, Ph.D. is Research Director of the Mack Center for Technological Innovation at The Wharton School, where he teaches strategy and decision making. Dr. Schoemaker is also the founder and chairman of Decision Strategies International, Inc., a consulting and training firm specializing in strategic planning and executive development. He has written more than 100 academic and applied papers as well as coauthored numerous books, including Decision Traps, Wharton on Managing Emerging Technologies, Winning Decisions, Profiting from Uncertainty, and Peripheral Vision. He serves on multiple boards.
Bio of Scott A. Snyder
SCOTT SNYDER is President and CEO of Decision Strategies International, Inc., a management consultancy specializing in scenario planning. He has 18+ years experience with Fortune 100 firms and technology ventures, and extensive expertise in enterprise applications, CRM, analytics, satellite communications, wireless, broadband, and other emerging technologies. An adjunct associate professor at Penn Engineering, Snyder is also a Senior Fellow in the Management Department of The Wharton School. He holds B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an executive degree from USC in Telecommunications Management.
