Bio of Elizabeth Rolls
Elizabeth Rolls was born in Kent, but moved to Australia at the age of fifteen months. She has lived in Australia ever since, except for a few years in Papua New Guinea as a child. Elizabeth taught music for several years and took a masters degree in musicology. Alternating between Melbourne and Sydney for a while, Elizabeth and her husband have fled the city for five acres surrounded by apple and cherry orchards in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia. They share this paradise with their two sons, three slightly demented sheep, four alpacas and a collection of cats and dogs, as well as a colony of bats who reside in the air vents of Elizabeth's study. I thought it was incredibly awsome.Posted March 05, 2009 by Sylvia, Jasper
The characters were great. The settings were realistic. The details were amazing. But the plot was wrong. His twin brother was caring in a believable yet fantastic way. Nice book.

Unusual plotPosted April 07, 2009 by Winnie, Singapore
I liked the storyline though I think the character development could be better. The characters came across as rather confusing. It was like, "Huh? So is he the good guy or the bad guy?". Some parts of the storyline were repetitive and caused the storyline to drag. But overall, I think it is still readable.

Great ReadPosted April 23, 2009 by Trawas, NJ
Great, easy read with characters you want to believe in. However the main male character's character is a bit confusing at times..

Sure, why not?Posted May 08, 2009 by Julieta, Orange County, CA
I agree with PPs that the main character was too conflicting in his actions/feelings. He was back and forth a little too much. And the main Lady's actions were also confusing at the beginning. That said, however, I found myself pulled into the story at the get-go and was entertained throughout. It was an enjoyable read.

It goes on and on and onPosted September 06, 2009 by asperdue, Helicon
Great at first, couldn't get enough. But then it goes on and on. Should have ended at least 10 chapters before the actual final chapter.
