• Storyline develops like a soap opera!

  I find that I'm not quite able to appreciate the author's style of writing. Each book flows into the next like each episode of a soap opera flowing into another episode. That is, a mini-storyline in the current book will flow into the next book as the main storyline. And as you get to the later books in the series, there is a lot of repetition of previous storylines. Obviously, to allow each book to be an independent read from the others.

  Debbie Macomber is one of my favorite authors. Easy to read with an intriguing storyline. Each one of the Cedar Cove books is connected but is also a story within itself. Highly recommend!

  I love this series. It's hard to put down. I just finished book #8, and I can't wait for book #9 that comes out in Sept. 2009.

  I had read some of the Cedar Cove books before, but I particularly enjoyed reading all of them in sequence. It explained a lot of things that I didn't understand.
  
  This comes as a single book for your reader, with each one following in order, so you can't miss. Probably the only disconcerting thing was, since I was reading them in order, some of the parts that were intended to 'catch the reader up" became repetitive after awhile.
  
  None-the-less, if you enjoy Debbie MacComber, this is an awesome way to read the series.
