Overview

Three tribes are at war on the planet Gan, unaware that the sign of Christ's birth on an unknown world - Earth - is about to appear in the heavens. During a bloody skirmish with Gideonite troops, Jonathan of Daniel spares Pekah, a young enemy soldier. His merciful act results in a chain of events that saves the life of his betrothed, ends the war, and gives birth to a national hero.

I really liked the The Thorn, first part story on The Chronicles of Gan, by Daron Fraley 2010. This is an interesting and well written story of a people on the planet of Gan, ?that is similar to earth, that revolves around a sun that we know as the star of Bethlehem. The author does a wonderful job of creating wonderful normal characters that are placed in extraordinary situations and their acceptance, personal humility, and their faith in Gods grace in these situations. This story is not a really a syfy story, but a fantasy of what if other worlds expected the birth of Christ and that salvation is for the whole Universe not just for earth. I found myself attached to the characters and wanted to see them succeed in their situations.
