Hidden Currents - Drake Series #7Posted February 15, 2011 by M. Morris, Dawson Creek
I am a first time reader of Christine Feehan and I liked the story line of this series of books. I have read all seven books in the Drake Sisters series. However, this last book does not live up to the previous ones. I had real difficulty staying with it to the end. The constant reference to how Elle helped Jackson through his confinement and torture got a bit tedious. Once or twice would have been enough to realize how important she was to his survival. More time should have been devoted to developing and clarifying the circumstances surrounding the plot. Also, it is not believable that a woman who was tortured and violated to the extent Elle was, would be able to enter into a intimate relationship so quickly after her rescue. I found the vivid descriptive sex scenes uncomfortable to read and found myself skipping pages in order to get past them. I enjoy reading through a loving, romantic and intimate encounter between a loving couple, but these bordered on perversion. I am sorry to say that I will not be reading any more books by this author in the foreseeable future. -

loved this Drake Sisiter book, 7th sisterPosted January 03, 2010 by Anita, Michigan
I love Christen Feehan books! I think that the reader would get more out of this book if they read the first Drake sister novel first, second and so on, then this 7th book will make more sense. Great series
