It seemed strange to Serena Lightfoot that whenever she most needed help, orthopaedic surgeon Mr. Ivo van Doelen always seemed to have a solution. When he installed her at his old nanny's home in Chelsea, Serena knew she couldn't stay long, for she was in danger of losing her heart to him. Bio of Betty Neels

Romance writer, Betty Neels was born and raised in Devon, England. She trained as a nurse and midwife. She was an army nursing sister during the war, and continued as a nurse until she retired. Upon retirement, she started her writing career. In a span of thirty years Betty wrote over one hundred thirty novels which were published in more that 100 international markets.
